HOW WE STARTED
3tailer was founded in 2005 by two friends and recent Appalachian State University (Michigan who?) graduates, Jon West and Chad Ledford, after winning “Most Likely to Succeed Online” in the annual Entrepreneurship contest. We currently operate several eCommerce properties with plans to expand to other niche markets in 2008.
We’ve been featured in various publications including the Charlotte Observer, Appalachian Today–and yes, BODY magazine. We love just generally talking about ourselves so please feel free to contact us for press opportunities.
We originally positioned ourselves as a young Search Engine Optimization company with a fresh perspective and energy. Now, our SEM services are now offered on a consulting basis boutique-style.

Jon West

While enrolled at Appalachian State University, Jon co-founded 3tailer in 2005. After graduating from ASU in May of 2006 with a degree in Information Systems. Jon currently serves as CEO of 3tailer, a niche eCommerce company with 10 websites operating out of Charlotte, NC.
Chad Ledford

Chad Ledford graduated from Appalachian State in May of 2006 with a degree in Business Mangement. He co-founded 3tailer while still enrolled at the University in late 2005. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of 3tailer.
Moses
President of Technology
The true brains behind the operation, Moses (aka Moe) graduated from MIT in 1983 with a double-major in Computer Science and Cute. Since graduation he has gone on to invent the Internet (sorry Al) and create the first search algorithm. He is currently in the process of finding the end of the Internet to beat the last guy who is apparently not easy.
