  We have had our Lacrosse Weather Station for 3 years, and love it. Sent our kids one for Christmas,they set it up immediately and love it. Wonderful for all ages and a great learning tool for children.

  This unit was pretty easy to set and get going. The Quick Set Up Manual was very helpful, as the regular operators manual pas pretty intimidating at the beginning. Two things that I learned: do not install the arms into the Wind Speed/direction indicator unless you are doing the final assembly, they are VERY hard to remove and swap around. Set up the entire unit and get it going on the kitchen table first, then mount the outside components on a board and move it outside, checking to make sure it is still working, then move the board near the final location and make sure it is STILL talking to you, then make the final mount of the exterior components.

  I have always wanted one of these to know what my weather is and going to be in reel time, there are so many out there and not cheap ! After some grueling research this unit seemed to hit all my needs. I was worried about complicated set up and extracting the info but this unit is so easy it makes it so cool to use !! I am enjoying this unit so much i can't wait for a good kick ass storm!! Oh, and setting it up took about 30 minutes ! For the price you can't beat it !! You won't be sorry if your a beginner and pick this up, you'll never need another one....it's so versatile!
