Questions on Plastazote® Insoles

    • Q: I have arthritic feet and have had several surgeries on toes. I wear sandals all the time, can't have anything touching my toes. At present time and for many years, I have orthotics which fit in my sandals when taking the insoles out.; they are purchased through and fitted by a pedorthist and have worked out well for quite a while. However, my feet are needing more cushioning. Many things don't work as they slide out of my sandals. My podiatrist gave me the name of these insoles and suggested I contact you to see if they might work for me, along with my present orthotics. Or could you suggest a product which might help. Previously, I wore Dr. Scholl's work liners on top of my orthotics and they were great! It was a closed cell foam and stuck to my orthotics so didn't slide out of sandal. They quit making them a few years ago and I have tried many things to no avail. Sorry this is so long, hope you can help me. Thank you for your consideration and information.

    • A: Hello,

The Plastazote® Insoles are made a of closed cell polyurethane foam. However, they do not come with adhesive. We cannot guarantee that they will not slip in your sandals. These insoles are made for a closed toe shoe. If you do decide to try these insoles, we suggest you try double-sided tape to make sure they do not slip.
