A doctor on a TV diet program was suggesting low fat consumption i.e. oil used for frying food. He said; there is a pot that uses a one spoon of oil for food frying. After searching we found it. It was Actifry from T-FAL We had it for tow weeks and being used almost daily for making a tasty and healthy potato fries.

I have been using the actifry for two weeks and used it 3 times to make french fries. The fries are very good and unlike frozen or fast food fries, they taste like potato. You do have to monitor the cooking to achieve the desired level of crispiness. 2 lbs of potatoes is really the max. I plan to try it with vegs and will experiment with different types of oil. If you like french fries and can deal with the cost, this is a good addition to your kitchen.

We love it!!!!! Great fries and great sweet potatoe fries. Friends and family are amazed at the great taste of the fries. Haven't gotten around to cooking anything else because the fries are too good after so many years of avoidance. Only had it about 3 weeks.

This is the best product ever!!! We are trying to lower our fat intake and cholesterol in our diets and this product is right on target for achieving these goals. The fries are absolutely wonderful, crisp, and delicious. I am so so happy I spent the money on this product. It is well worth it.

cook illustrated dissed this product so I had my doubts, but it performed much better then expected, I found the final product to be very close to fried with minimal effort and a substantially healthier end result.

I really like the product, but I would like to fix a bigger batch of fries. It is almost greaseless, and has a great flavor.

I have received my Actifry this week. The potatoes I fried here came out perfect. Imagine the best fries you have tasted but without the greasy feeling and oil dripping from them. If you love french fries but don’t eat them anymore because of the added fat to your diet then this is for you. I have fry up 10Lbs of potatoes already from french fries to home frys and potato wedges all excellent!
