    purchased this stock for a norinco short barrel model. found installation to be very easy. installs very snug and fits great. did find that i needed to provide replacements for the two bolts which are included to fasten the rear stock on to the body because the ones provided were too short. did a very minor amount of trimming on the guard over the gas tube but that was easy. i will definately buy another if i get another sks rifle. it doesnt turn it into a sexy ar-15 look a like but its close.

    it was difficult to get this on my Chinese SKS, especially the piece that attaches to the gas tube, seeing as I had to modify the gas tube and stock I could not recommend this to someone with a Chinese SKS unless you know what you're doing, but it is a great product.

    • A: Hi Melvin,

      You do not have to buy the Tapco Gas Tube and Extended Magazine Release to use the Tapco Intrafuse stock. This stock will fit the Norinco Paratrooper model as well, but if you have the kind that take AK mags, you may have to file some off of the stock for it to fit.
