These are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn...I wash them like I normally wash socks and so far have had no problem with them.

I HAVE PURCHASED THE DIABEATIC SOCKS TWICE AND BEEN GIVEN A PK FREE. I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM THE SOCKS WEAR OUT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SOCK NEAR THE HEEL AREA AND I STILL CAN'T FIGURE THIS OUT.ACTUAL HOLES AND I DON'T USE ANY BLEACH. AS FAR AS BEING COMFORTABLE AND BEING LOOSE ENOUGH AT THE TOP I LOVE THEM.

These socks are NOT for swollen diabetic legs. They are way too constricting above the ankle. Leave major indentation marks all the way up the leg. They are not comfortable. You are aware of something annoying on your leg the whole time you are wearing these. They are just ordinary socks, nothing special.

I ordered my socks after listening to a podiatrist who came to our diabetic support group. He impressed on us the importance of wearing diabetic socks. He also suggested that we get the white socks. I have been a collector of many different colors and designs of socks over the years and I was hesitant to give up my collection. I was so moved by this doctor and his presentation that I went ahead and took the plunge and ordered a dozen crew socks and a dozen ankle socks, both in white. Both pairs arrived within a couple days and in excellent condition. I tried on my first pair right away. I chose a crew sock pair and with us still having wind and snow it was the perfect choice. My feet have been warm, my legs, toes and feet have had plenty of room to move around and I don't go to be at night with frozen feet.

These socks have helped me keep my 99-year-old residents's swollen feet warm. She has considerable edema in her lower legs and feet. The top edge of the sock does cause a slight indentation on her legs, which has not been a problem so far. They stay up well.

Since being diagnosed with diabetes I have worked very hard to preserve the nerves in my feet. Socks (which I was never aware of before) can be vitally importent! The padding in the soles, the roomy boxy toe area, and mostly, the loose elastic tops are all contributing to my comfort. Not to mention the warmth! My circulation is impaired enough that the feet stay cold a lot of the time. I have found that my diabetic socks worn inside my lambs wood house shoes keep my feet very warm and comfortable. I usually wear the socks to bed and if, as the bed warms up, I get too warm they are very easy to remove. If I had one thing I would like to change, it would be tghe size. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and I could use a slightly smaller sock..

    • Q: Looking for a thick padded sole sock I have calluses on both soles, no pad and callus goes into nerves of sole. I am looking for comfort and relief when in shoes
Will this sock work, can you suggest any other socks with a heavy padded sole? What is your return policy?
    • A: Hello Donna,

I would be happy to assist you. The Women's Diabetic socks, unfortunately, do not have a thick padding along the bottom for calluses. These socks are better if your foot and ankles are swelling from diabetes. I have, however, found a pair of socks that have gel bottoms that should help relieve the pain and be comfortable for you when you wear your shoes. Here is a link to these socks:

It is always best to have your physician to determine if these socks are best for you before placing an order as we are not physicians. Our return policy vary depending on products. The socks I have linked above have a return policy listed along with them under the link labeled "View Return Policy." I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

      Have a great day!

    • Q: I have been wearing the crew length ladies white in the small for 5 year. I do not have diabetes but I like a sock with no seam or one that is very smooth. I have trouble finding the small and if I purchase the larger size than it bunches up around my feet and is annoying and painful and that defeat the purpose of buying you socks. One size doesn't fit all and everyone doesn't have large feet. Have you quit making the small if so please let me know so I will quit looking for them everywhere I go?
    • A: Hello,

These socks are replacement for the Medipeds which were sold in small. That item is no longer available. This comparable item is a one size fits all. I apologize for any inconvenience.

      Have a great day!
